What are voyeurism offenses

Voyeurism is a criminal offense that involves observing or recording an individual without their consent, in circumstances where the individual has a reasonable expectation of privacy. The offense typically involves observing or recording the individual in a private place, such as a bathroom, changing room, or bedroom.
In many jurisdictions, voyeurism is considered a serious offense and is punishable by law. The severity of the offense and the penalties associated with it may vary depending on the specific circumstances of the case, including the age of the victim, the intent of the perpetrator, and the nature and duration of the offense.
In some cases, voyeurism may also involve the distribution or sharing of images or videos of the victim without their consent, which can lead to additional criminal charges such as revenge porn or distribution of child pornography.
